Career Opportunities

PsyCare, Inc. is seeking to employ early to mid-career clinicians (psychologists, social workers, counselors, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners) — with specific training in behavioral health assessments and interventions — to provide outpatient clinical services to diverse traditional populations (children and adolescents, families, and adults, with a variety of presenting problems). The successful applicant will be provided support for the development and provision of specialized services and programs.

PsyCare, Inc. is a for-profit, Joint Commission accredited network of outpatient behavioral healthcare clinics, with a multidisciplinary clinical staff. Excellent administrative support services are provided. In addition to traditional outpatient care, there are opportunities for a flexible or part-time schedule and a variety of professional service options to other community agencies and hospitals. The position includes competitive compensation and benefits. There are also opportunities to assume leadership/ownership roles, and we are seeking applicants with strong clinical and entrepreneurial interests and skills.

PsyCare, Inc. operates eight clinics, primarily in the Mahoning Valley of Northeastern Ohio, serving children, adolescents and adults from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. The area is known for very affordable housing, with many residential options available within a 10 to 15-minute drive to each of our offices. Excellent cultural and arts attractions, professional athletic teams, and outdoor and water sports activities are very accessible within an hour’s drive to Pittsburgh or Cleveland.

Clinicians accepting employment at PsyCare benefit from multiple competitive advantages. We provide services to a broad range of client populations and payer sources, including traditional commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and Workers Compensation. We enjoy a broad referral base and brand recognition, based upon commitment to high quality of service (as reflected by our accreditation by The Joint Commission). PsyCare is well-positioned to achieve integration of behavioral and physical care to meet current trends in healthcare, such as the provision of “Health Home” services promoted by the State of Ohio.

PsyCare clinicians are able to integrate counseling/psychotherapy services with our psychiatric and medication management services, contributing to enhanced patient care. We have an active continuing education program, with multiple workshops and CE programs annually. Professional billing and collection services, as well as other administrative support services, permit clinicians to focus on patient care. Clinicians are strongly supported in the development of specialized programs and practice development, and there are realistic opportunities for future leadership roles in the organization.

We believe that the successful applicant for a position at PsyCare will have an excellent opportunity for developing a rewarding professional practice, and we welcome your consideration. Please contact us at
